Privacy Policy

What we collect
Account data: email address, display name, profile image, and authentication identifiers provided by your sign-in provider (Google OAuth or email/password via Firebase Authentication).
Content you upload: audio and video files you submit for transcription, plus the resulting transcripts and translations.
Usage data: minimal operational logs (request timestamps, error diagnostics) needed to run and secure the Service.
What we do NOT collect
No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
No payment information — the Service does not process payments.
How your data is used
Uploaded media is sent to AI providers (e.g., speech-recognition and translation services) solely to produce your transcripts and translations.
Transcripts and job metadata are stored in our database, scoped to your account, so you can view and export them later.
Provider API keys are used server-side only; they are never exposed to your browser.
Storage & retention
Uploaded files are stored in managed cloud object storage and can be deleted by deleting the associated job. Transcripts persist until you delete them or your account.
Authentication sessions are token-based and expire automatically; signing out revokes tokens immediately.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and plain-HTTP requests are redirected. Access to stored data requires authenticated, per-user authorization — users can only read their own jobs and transcripts.
Passwords (for email/password accounts) are handled exclusively by Firebase Authentication and are never visible to the application.
Rate limiting, login lockout, bot protection, input validation, and output escaping are applied throughout the Service.
Your rights
You can access, export, and delete your transcripts at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your associated data.
For questions about your data, contact the site owner.
