Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using VoxShift ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

VoxShift provides AI-powered transcription, translation, and real-time speech capture. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and verify your email address where required.

Accounts engaging in abuse — including automated scraping, credential stuffing, or attempts to bypass rate limits — may be suspended or terminated. Repeated failed sign-in attempts temporarily lock accounts to protect them from brute-force attacks.

4. Acceptable use

You may upload audio/video you own or have the right to process. You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or contains malware.

Automated access to the API outside the official app is prohibited without written permission.

5. Data & privacy

Processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. Uploaded media is used solely to produce your transcripts and translations.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload and transcripts generated from it. The Service itself, including its design and code, is owned by its author.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI transcription and translation may contain errors — do not rely on outputs for medical, legal, or safety-critical purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
